Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items that complement beverage offerings. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Uphold high standards of customer service while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, showcasing your understanding of the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of all patrons. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle busy periods while maintaining quality service. Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, fostering a welcoming environment. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
