Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organised bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain knowledge of drink menus, specials, and promotions to effectively upsell items. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the bar area. Manage inventory by tracking supplies and placing orders as necessary. Provide excellent guest services by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures. Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bartending or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong culinary knowledge with an understanding of food safety practices. Basic maths skills for managing cash transactions and inventory calculations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Exceptional guest service skills with a focus on hospitality and creating memorable experiences. Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with food preparation techniques is advantageous but not essential.
