Overview

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain food safety standards will be crucial in this role.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and ensuring their needs are met. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, notifying management when stock is low. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving practices at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth operations during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; training can be provided. Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests. Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
