Munas Ethiopian Cuisine is looking for a friendly and engaging Server who is eager to learn our menu, become familiar with the bar, and confidently recommend food and drinks to guests. The ideal candidate is warm, chatty, and enjoys building genuine relationships with customers while providing excellent service and creating a welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming dining experience Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently Learn the menu and bar offerings to confidently recommend dishes and drinks Explain Ethiopian cuisine, ingredients, and dining traditions to guests Build rapport and maintain friendly, engaging conversations with customers Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction Assist with bar service as needed and become familiar with drink preparation Handle payments and operate the POS system accurately Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service

Requirements:

Previous serving or customer service experience preferred (training provided) Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer engagement skills Willingness to learn Ethiopian cuisine, ingredients, and dining traditions Ability to work well under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment Comfortable working independently with limited team support during peak hours Strong multitasking and time-management skills Able to stay calm, organized, and professional during high-volume service Interest in learning bar service and beverage offerings Reliable, punctual, and dependable Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 10.00-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
