Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring that our customers have a memorable experience. Your ability to manage time effectively while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests taking orders, and offering recommendations. Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Assist in the training of new staff members in bartending techniques and customer service skills. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, reporting any shortages or issues to management. Uphold food safety standards by ensuring all drinks are prepared in a hygienic manner.

Experience

Previous experience in a bartending or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink recipes accurately. A good understanding of food safety practices is essential to maintain high hygiene standards. Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to engage positively with customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly. A passion for bartending with an eagerness to develop your skills further within the industry.
