Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic team. You will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer experiences by delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced brunching environment. Your responsibilities will include serving food, taking orders and beverages, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience. The successful candidate will also assist with basic food preparation tasks during busy periods.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's point-of-sale system. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance the guest experience through upselling. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food items during preparation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of orders. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed during busy periods.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for delivering excellent guest services. Previous restaurant experience preferred, particularly in a serving role. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Basic math skills for processing bills and handling payments accurately. Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is advantageous but not essential. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 5 per week
