Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant environment is preferred, along with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted. Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities. Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times during service. Assist in food preparation or organising tables as needed, supporting kitchen staff when required. Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills. Provide attentive guest services, addressing any requests or concerns promptly and courteously. Clear tables and assist with the organisation of the dining area to maintain a tidy environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques. Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately. Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods. Excellent communication skills with a friendly, guest-focused attitude. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest service and creating positive dining experiences.
