Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Ensure all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, are adhered to at all times Clear tables promptly and assist with setting up for subsequent service periods Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including side stations and dining spaces Handle guest queries courteously, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed, demonstrating versatility within the team

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
