Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take food and drink orders accurately, using basic math skills to manage transactions effectively. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards. Up-sell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and efficiency to ensure satisfaction. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure all guests receive prompt service.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is required. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest services and satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is advantageous. Experience in kitchen or culinary roles is a bonus but not mandatory. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role.
