Duties

Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction Clear tables efficiently and maintain cleanliness throughout the service period Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety regulations Handle guest enquiries professionally, resolving any issues promptly Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods Process payments accurately using the POS system and issue receipts

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts Basic maths skills for handling bills and cash transactions Kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Upselling skills to promote specials and increase sales opportunities
