Suzette, a highly-rated and bustling creperie located at 16 Bute Street, South Kensington, London, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Waiter/Supervisor to join our friendly team.

Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and have a love for authentic French cuisine? Suzette offers a modern and bold dining experience, renowned for our delicious sweet and savoury crepes, galettes, and delightful breakfasts. With a cosy and lively atmosphere, we cater to guests for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, and feature both indoor and pavement seating.

The Role:

We are looking for a dedicated individual who can not only provide exceptional service as a waiter but also take on supervisory responsibilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and attend to guests with a warm and professional demeanour. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and beverages to the highest standards. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our menu, including daily specials and an understanding of allergens. Supervise shifts when required, ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant floor. Assist in training and motivating junior staff members. Handle customer enquiries and resolve any complaints with professionalism. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cashing up and end-of-day reporting. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a waiter/waitress in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality is highly desirable. A genuine passion for food, particularly French cuisine, and delivering outstanding customer service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and lead by example. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. A positive attitude and a team player mentality. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings, in line with our opening hours: Monday & Tuesday: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM Wednesday & Thursday: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM Friday: 8:30 AM - 9:30 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM Sunday: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM (flexibility is key) Must be eligible to work in the UK.
