We are a small boutique Hotel with a big personality and we are after someone who loves people, takes pride in good service and knows how to have a bit of fun at work. Our restaurant is full of character, regulars we adore and a team that actually has each other's back. We need someone with an attitude that says " I've got this" even on mad days.

let's be honest- hotels don't sleep and neither does great service. You'll need to be happy working a mix of shifts, including mornings evenings, weekends and holidays. If you're the type who likes variety and being where the action is, you'll fit right in!

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly attitude. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling items when appropriate. Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring that all orders are delivered accurately and in a timely manner. Assist in the kitchen with food preparation and ensure that all culinary standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to exceed their expectations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. A team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues in a dynamic environment. A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges within the restaurant setting.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
