Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any special requests or concerns Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas Follow food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as needed during busy periods Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Manage multiple tables efficiently while prioritising guest needs

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and upselling techniques Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a friendly demeanour Good organisational skills with effective time management abilities Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory A positive attitude, team player mentality, and willingness to learn new skills
