Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and a keen interest in the culinary arts. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food preparation as needed.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and beverages to guests while ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience. Assist with food preparation in the kitchen when required, adhering to food safety standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions where possible. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling.

Skills

Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. Experience in a restaurant setting is preferred, with knowledge of culinary practices being advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Excellent guest services skills, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices to ensure compliance in all aspects of service. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive dining experience for guests. A proactive approach to helping colleagues in both front-of-house and kitchen operations as needed.

Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour
