Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a keen understanding of food service operations. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests receive outstanding service, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages, while also maintaining a clean and organised environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's point-of-sale system. Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high culinary standards. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. A team player who can work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow servers. A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service within the hospitality industry.

Pay: 10.00-13.00 per hour
