Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, courteous service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Assist in food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety regulations Manage guest payments accurately, including handling cash and card transactions Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including tables, stations, and dining spaces Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for guest interaction Basic maths skills for handling bills, payments, and tips accurately Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods while maintaining professionalism A proactive attitude towards learning new skills such as culinary techniques or upselling strategies Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
