Job Summary

We are seeking great personalities to provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding guest services while efficiently managing your time and responsibilities.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and welcoming them with a smile. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are noted and communicated effectively to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards throughout the process. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation. Assist with inventory management by reporting low stock levels of supplies or ingredients as necessary.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred- at least 1 year minimum, in a high volume restaurant environment, following detailed steps of service and managing a busy section. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required. Experience in upselling menu items is beneficial but not essential.
