With three offices situated in Scotland; Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen we have the ability to service a customer base that stretches from the Shetland Isles all the way down to the North of England. Ferrier Pumps provide full back up repair and maintenance coverage for the products and equipment and services we supply and install. Ferrier Pumps have a wide client base which ranges from Agricultural, Oil & Gas, Marine, Biogas, Brewing & Distilling, Water & Power Leisure, and Food Processing.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Person to join our team. As a Service Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our service operations. You will provide administrative support to engineers, Service Coordinator and Service Manager. coordinate service activities, manage paperwork, and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating service jobs, scheduling engineers and maintaining job progress updates
Prepare and issue service reports, job sheets, purchase orders, and invoices
Be a key point of contact for customer enquiries relating to service work
Support the service team with day-to-day administrative tasks
Maintain accurate records in our service management systems
Liaise with suppliers regarding parts, orders, and delivery updates
Assist with contract administration and planned maintenance schedules
Key Skills/Attributes:
We're looking for someone who thrives in a small team environment and enjoys taking ownership of tasks. The ideal candidate will have:
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
A proactive approach and the ability to multitask
Confidence using IT systems (Microsoft Office essential; service software advantageous)
Experience in a similar administrative or service-coordination role (preferred but not essential)
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
