Job Description

To coordinate the scheduling, logistics, and administration of field engineers and technical support staff responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of medical and health technology equipment across healthcare sites in Northern Ireland and beyond. This role ensures high-quality customer service and operational efficiency in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:



Schedule and dispatch

engineers for equipment installations, planned maintenance, and emergency service visits

Coordinate logistics

including spare parts, tools, calibration equipment, and site access at healthcare facilities

Act as a liaison

between healthcare clients (e.g., hospitals, clinics) and the technical team to manage expectations and service timelines Maintain and update service schedules using CRM or field service software (e.g., ServiceMax, SAP FSM) Track service contracts, warranty periods, and compliance timelines for medical devices

Monitor KPIs

relating to service efficiency, SLA performance, and customer satisfaction Provide administrative support including service reports, invoicing, and documentation for regulatory compliance (e.g., MHRA, ISO 13485) Handle and escalate technical queries or complaints when necessary Support stock control and ordering for spare parts and consumables used by field engineers

Skills & Qualifications:



Essential:



Previous experience in service coordination, logistics, or scheduling -- ideally within a technical or engineering environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/service management systems Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities

Desirable:



Knowledge of health technology or medical devices (e.g., diagnostic, imaging, surgical, or patient monitoring equipment) Technical background or qualification (e.g., HNC/HND in engineering or electronics) Familiarity with healthcare settings and relevant regulatory standards

Pay: 24,420.00-34,071.61 per year
