are seeking an experienced Administrator, to provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative service. We are seeking a motivated and organised Administrator to support our busy community drug and alcohol service. This is a key role providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth service delivery. You'll be responsible for managing referrals, maintaining accurate records, and supporting team communications. We have many clients to support so a smooth-running administrative team is crucial to us achieving our aims each and every day. There's great variety in this role ranging from greeting clients, minuting meetings, maintaining our data quality to processing assessments and providing clinical administrative support.
The role is permanent and full time working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with some evening and Saturday working as required.

Essential Skills
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong IT skills, and a commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals. You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage your time effectively. You will work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do and has a positive and engaging approach to our clients and key stakeholders.
To do this job successfully, you will need:
experience of providing great administrative support in a busy environment
the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
to be confident working in a team environment and able to work collaboratively
a good level of Maths and English (verbal and written)
to be organised, able to manage and prioritise your time and deal with changing and conflicting demands with ease
good analytical skills with an eye for detail
a can do, positive attitude
excellent IT skills, including database management and be comfortable using digital media
to understand work-based Health & Safety issues
some flexibility with working hours and location from time to time
If you have worked in a charitable organisation before and/or have knowledge or experience of our client group, that would be an advantage but not essential.
