Role Overview:



As a Service Advisor at Halliday Automotive, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Service Department. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customer needs promptly and effectively. Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll be the frontline liaison between customers and our service team, ensuring that their experience is seamless from start to finish. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and departmental efficiency.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:



Customer Satisfaction:

Act as one of the faces of our dealership, welcoming customers when they arrive and ensuring they feel valued and supported throughout their service experience. Serve as an essential link between our customers and our technicians, guiding them through our services, communicating their concerns to the appropriate personnel, and demonstrating that we have fulfilled their service needs. Organise car check-ups and service appointments, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery while accommodating customer schedules and preferences. Highlight cost savings opportunities through warranty protection, helping customers make informed decisions about their service and repair options.
Communication and Customer Support:

Guide customers through our services, explaining procedures and options in a clear and concise manner to ensure understanding and satisfaction. Make and receive calls to and from our customers whose vehicles require maintenance attention, converting these contacts into workshop bookings to ensure efficient allocation of resources. Appropriately upsell related products and services as applicable, identifying customer needs and offering solutions to enhance their driving experience and vehicle longevity. Communicate customer issues and concerns to the appropriate individuals, such as technicians or service managers, to ensure prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
Customer Feedback and Satisfaction:

Encourage customers to participate in our customer service feedback process, emphasising the importance of their input in helping us improve our services. Follow up with customers after service completion to ensure satisfaction with the work performed and address any remaining concerns or issues. Strive to deliver exceptional service at every opportunity, aiming to exceed customer expectations and earn positive feedback and ratings.
Additional Responsibilities:

Estimate repair costs and times for customers, providing accurate and transparent information to assist them in making informed decisions about their vehicle maintenance. Resolve any concerns or objections raised by customers regarding suggested repairs, addressing their questions and providing reassurance as needed. Continuously update and educate yourself on product knowledge, service procedures, and industry trends to better serve our customers and support the growth of our dealership. Action and monitor CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) calls on a regular basis.

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
