We are seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to join our award winning aftersales team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Service Advisor, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are accurately recorded and communicated to the servicing team.
Responsibilities
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, assessing their needs and concerns.
Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs to customers, ensuring they understand the work required.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers regarding their vehicle status.
Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
Maintain an organised workspace and ensure all customer records are up to date.
Requirements
Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to upsell services while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
