An exciting opportunity has been created at Mercedes-Benz of Epsom for a Service Advisor.

The Role




The Service Advisor is responsible for every aspect of a customer's after-sales experience. The main purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient operation of your own group of customers, to meet and exceed their expectations and to maximise workshop profitability. The successful applicant will actively sell after-sales services in a customer-oriented manner, ensuring the workshop is working to full capacity by effectively scheduling customer orders.

Main Duties include:





To receive customers and their vehicles in a friendly and professional manner, discuss and confirm their requirements and take responsibility for the vehicle during its time at the Retailer. To work with the workshop team to achieve the highest possible levels of performance. Keeping customers informed of the status of their vehicle, giving comprehensive technical and commercial advice on the extent of work to be done and providing a cost estimate for repair work. Inform customers and potential customers about accessories and subsequent fitting of optional extras and promote any accessory campaigns. To ensure that collection and delivery drivers operate to schedule and meet customer and workshop expectations. To ensure all customer and vehicle data is correctly captured and loaded to the Kerridge Dealer Management System and updated as required. To ensure that repair orders are raised and processed according to the established guidelines and that work is completed to schedule and the required standard. To ensure that invoicing is accurate and completed on time. To take responsibility for subcontracted repairs and ensure the work has been completed. Ensure that proper use is made of technical information and that it is understood how to use the manufacturer's systems. To ensure all relevant warranty documentation and parts are identified and are kept for the warranty team. To maintain high standards of housekeeping within both the front of house and back of house service areas, ensuring a safe working environment.

About You



Mercedes-Benz of

Epsom

is looking for someone keen to take on a new challenge with a brand that is at the forefront of technology and innovation. You will have worked in a similar role within the motor trade previously, have fantastic customer service skills and ideally a technical understanding. You will have experience using Kerridge automotive computer system or similar and have high levels of attention to detail.



You will need a full driving licence.



On Offer




08.00-18.00 Monday to Friday (with one-hour unpaid lunch) - one day per week 18.30 finish.


Saturdays 08.00 - 14.00 on a rota basis paid as additional hours. Total hours ; 45


Salary up to 43,000 depending on experience
