We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess some mechanical knowledge (although this isn't essential) and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.
As a Service Advisor, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through the service process and providing them with accurate information regarding their vehicles.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs regarding vehicle service and repairs.
Provide detailed explanations of services required, including necessary repairs and maintenance.
Upsell additional services and products that may benefit the customer's vehicle performance.
Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain records of all financial exchanges.
Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining quality standards.
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further concerns.
Maintain an organised workspace and keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Requirements
Proven experience in upselling services or products in a customer-facing role is highly desirable.
Excellent cash handling skills, with a keen attention to detail in financial transactions.
Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn about new products and services.
