We are looking for an experienced individual who has previously worked in a customer focused position. A rare and fantastic opportunity has arisen at our successful and expanding dealership. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Service Advisor to join the team. Reports directly to the Senior Service Advisor, and works with colleagues and other teams across the dealership to provide a seamless high standard of customer service.
This is a customer focused position, and the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers visiting our dealership. This position requires an individual who can offer a very warm professional welcome via both the telephone and face-to-face and we are therefore looking for someone that is friendly, enthusiastic, outgoing and cheerful. The successful candidate will provide excellent communication with customers.
We are looking for an experienced individual who has previously worked in a customer focused position or in the motor trade as a Service Advisor.
Salary is 22,500 a year basic + bonus
. This position also entitles you to staff discount on servicing your car and you will be enrolled onto the company pension scheme.
Responsibilities
Plans and coordinates Service activity to maximise workshop and profitability, as well as ensuring Complete Customer Satisfaction. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Builds rapport and qualifies customers' requirements
Talks and listens to customers to build rapport and understand their service/repair requirements
Uses a good understanding of the customer's requirements to guide them towards the product/service that will best suit their needs
Uses in depth product knowledge to professionally and consultatively sell additional products and services
Retains an awareness of current/seasonal promotions and marketing campaigns
Provides accurate estimates for servicing and repairs, ensuring that the customer is aware of the costs/timescales involved and sets expectations accordingly
Ensures that individual customer's bookings and work-flow meets their needs, taking into account workshop loading, courtesy car allocation and parts availability
Agrees vehicle delivery/collection or courtesy car arrangements. Hands courtesy car over in a professional manner
Understands and uses the warranty policy on behalf of the customer

Working in a dealership service environment can be exciting, rewarding and quite demanding. What you absolutely need is exceptional customer service skills and positive attitude. You must be well presented with a desire and attitude to succeed. A service background would be advantageous along with experience within the automotive trade however it is not a pre-requisite as full training is provided.
Experience within a franchised dealership
Work in accordance with manufacturer standards and dealership requirements
Excellent communication skills
IT Literate with Pinnacle (preferably) and knowledge in Microsoft Office, whilst being confident using a PC
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task

Salary: 22,500.00 per year plus bonus and commission
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am until 17.30pm. 1 in 3 Saturdays 8.30am until 12.30pm.
