Service Advisor/Bookkeeper
to join our team. This dual-role position will manage customer service, bookings, and workshop finance tasks, ensuring smooth operations both front-of-house and behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Bookings
Greet and assist customers, ensuring a friendly and professional experience from drop-off to collection.
Handle all service and MOT bookings, confirming appointments, scheduling efficiently, and monitoring workshop availability.
Clearly explain service and repair work, answer queries, and provide regular updates.
Upsell relevant services or repairs based on the vehicle's condition or service history.
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain clear and timely communication via phone, email, and in person.
Workshop Accounts & Finance
Generate accurate customer invoices for services, repairs, and parts.
Record payments, track outstanding invoices, and follow up on overdue accounts.
Maintain and reconcile parts stock, liaising with suppliers to order and track workshop materials.
Assist with cash handling, daily takings, and reconciliation.
Support reporting of workshop revenue, job completion rates, and financial performance.
Maintain accurate records using
QuickBooks
and the service booking system.
Workshop & Administration
Liaise with technicians to allocate and prioritise jobs efficiently.
Keep the service desk, reception, and administrative areas clean, organised, and presentable.
Skills
Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Workshop Coordinator, or in workshop accounts.
Strong organisational and administrative abilities, with attention to detail in both customer service and workshop finance tasks.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Confident upselling services while maintaining a customer-first approach.
Familiarity with basic mechanical terms and vehicle systems.
Experience with
QuickBooks
and service booking systems (TechMan preferred).
Valid UK driving licence (held for at least 1 year, clean).
Proactive, dependable, and solution-oriented.

Pay:
From 28,500
Schedule:
Rota-based between Monday-Saturday, 7am-5pm or 8am-6pm
Working Week:
5 days per week | 45 hours
Overtime:
Available when required
