Mon - Fri 8am - 5:30pm

Saturday mornings 8:30am - 1pm on a rota basis.

Role Overview:
We are looking to introduce a third person to our team who will contribute to the running and organisation of our front of house. As a Service Advisor / Workshop Controller, you will be part of a team responsible for overseeing the smooth running of our workshop and reception, ensuring that all vehicles are repaired to the highest standard and within agreed timeframes. You will supervise a team of technicians, manage work schedules, and liaise with customers to ensure their needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the service process, providing updates and addressing any concerns. Supervise and support a team of technicians to ensure efficient vehicle repairs. Allocate work to technicians based on their skills and availability. Monitor workshop productivity and quality, ensuring work is completed on time. Liaise with fellow Service Advisors and customers to ensure clear communication regarding vehicle repairs. Maintain accurate records of all repairs, including parts used and time spent. Manage the workshop inventory and order parts as necessary. Report to management on workshop performance and any issues that arise.
Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in a workshop or automotive environment is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks. Good communication skills to interact with customers and the team. Knowledge of vehicle repairs, parts, and service procedures.
