We're looking for a friendly, hardworking and motivated Driver to join our fantastic team at Newstead. Supporting a network of 22 Dougie Mac charity shops, you'll play a vital role in shop logistics, recycling operations and customer collections -- all helping to raise funds for local people living with life-limiting conditions.
This is more than just a driving job -- it's a key part of making our retail operation a success.
Key Responsibilities
Drive hospice vehicles to collect and deliver donated goods and furniture safely and efficiently.
Transport goods to and from the shops.
Support waste and recycling daily processes at our dedicated Centre.
Maintain vehicles and site, including cleaning, checks, and reporting issues.
Follow health & safety procedures and uphold legal driving responsibilities.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has a full, clean UK driving licence
Is physically fit and comfortable lifting furniture and stock (bending, twisting, carrying)
Works well in a busy warehouse or retail environment
Communicates effectively with shop staff, customers and colleagues
Has a proactive and flexible approach, with good problem-solving skills

Hours:
40 hours a week (5 out of 6 days a week)
