Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:





The Acorn Group is currently seeking to recruit an experienced

Accounts Controller

to join the

Block Management

team. The successful applicant will be a team player preferably with experience in service charge accounts. You will be highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deliver an exceptional level of customer service.


Duties will include:



Raising service charge and ground rent demands Monitoring service charge expenditure Preparing year end packs for accountants Reconciling and issuing the service charge year end accounts Responding to queries from leaseholders and clients Processing and paying invoices Internal bank transfers BACS payments to suppliers Inputting payments received Taking telephone payments

Skills required:



Good written and oral communication skills Able to plan and prioritise Excellent IT skills - Experience of Microsoft suite of products, Word, Excel etc. Attention to detail Able to communicate at all levels Block Management finance experience Knowledge of property market and associated services Knowledge of TPI compliance rules Experience of busy month end routines
