Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various accounting disciplines, including corporate accounting, non-profit accounting, and governmental accounting. This role requires proficiency in financial concepts and the ability to manage multiple financial responsibilities while ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.

Duties



Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and collections. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting. Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely submission of payroll taxes. Perform financial report writing and interpretation to provide insights into financial performance. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis to support strategic decision-making. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, PeopleSoft, Sage, Xero, or similar tools for efficient financial management. Ensure adherence to SOX compliance and securities law regulations where applicable. Provide mentoring to junior staff members in technical accounting practices and principles. Conduct auditing processes to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and adherence to internal controls.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is a plus. Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial management practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. Experience with double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and accrual accounting. Familiarity with private equity financing and corporate finance concepts is advantageous. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
