We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Application Support Analyst to play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our internal corporate tools and applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting complex application issues, ensuring the seamless operation of software systems, and providing high-level technical support to our end users.

Responsibilities

  • Provide second and third-line support for internal corporate tools and applications, adeptly managing complex and escalated support issues.
  • Manage regular patching of Operating Systems, supervise the effectiveness of patches, and address any post-patching issues.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate potential system vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with various business areas and other technology teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Manage the expectations and specific needs of internal stakeholders regarding application support.
  • Collaborate with the Software Development Team to understand updates and provide efficient support for new software applications.
  • Document all aspects of specific support cases in the tracking system, including problem descriptions, resolved solutions, and interactions with software teams.
  • Develop comprehensive training materials for software applications and continuously improve upon them.
  • Execute software installations, configurations, and upgrades while maintaining meticulous documentation of each process.
  • Provide data analytics support by generating and interpreting reports that provide insights for decision-making.
  • Actively participate in software-related projects to ensure the successful deployment of new technology solutions.
  • Liaise efficiently with different internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve application issues swiftly.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of robust application support procedures and policies.
  • Consistently identify and implement strategies to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications
  • Proven professional experience as an IT Application Support Analyst, preferably within a corporate
environment with extensive use of business applications.
  • Experience with batch processing operations.
  • Proficient with Windows Architecture.
  • Experience working with centralized data repositories.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Business Intelligence tools, and reporting software.
  • Solid understanding of IT methodologies, processes, and standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
