Generator Power is the UK's largest and privately owned generator rental company. Having enjoyed over 25 years supplying power that meets the customers needs. With 11 depots across the UK, we are able to provide national coverage. The company provides installation of Generators to all industries, from Hospitals, Festivals, Renewable Energy, Telecoms, General Construction and is the largest supplier to the utilities sector. We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Controller to join us at our Normanton site.

Duties/Responsibilities


Including but not limited to

Process inbound customer contacts (phone / email) for the Service Department. Monitor equipment telemetry systems for notifications / alarm and manage these alarms through to site attendance (if required) and full resolution. Ensure customers are provided detailed timely feedback on any ongoing equipment issues. Where necessary manage site access permits through customer portals to ensure field based staff can enter site locations correctly and where required cancel unused permits daily. If required liaise with other departments Hire Desk, Logistics, Electrical to manage ongoing equipment issues such as equipment exchanges. Report breakdowns and issue resolution through any internal or external customer logging systems. Work in collaboration with depot locations to ensure equipment maintenance / servicing is completed on time and to limit the number of overdue services within the business. Process chargeable & non-chargeable job sheets and ensure invoicing accuracy at all time. Resolve any customer queries relating to invoices raised by the Service team. Assist in the production of Management or Monthly Customer Performance Reports. Ensure work is accurate across our various logging & reporting systems. Promote teamwork and co-operation at all times, both within individual depots and right across the entire Generator Power Group of Companies; Treat all other employees and all our customers professionally and with respect; Always act in the best interests of any of the Generator Power Group of Companies, and not to carry out (or fail to carry out) any action that would bring the company into disrepute; Always work in a responsible manner to ensure safe working practices. Follow Health Safety Quality and Environmental guidelines provided by the company - currently ISO 9001:14001 and OHSAS 18001 procedures, including all future notifications; Proactively contribute to the company's policy of continuous improvement; Carry out any reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by your direct Line Manager or the Management Team.

Hours:



Full time 40 hour week Permanent Sunday to Thursday (Sunday 7am-7 pm; Monday -Thursday 7am to 4 pm)

Experience required:



Administration/Office Work or experience; Plant Service experience; Service controller experience. Competent on Excel including Pivot tables Be able to sort data, accurately and reasonably fast. Filter data.
