Customer-Focused Service Delivery Coordinator

to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview:


The Service Delivery Coordinator will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing service operations for our engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in planning, deploying, and supporting reactive service engineers within a heavy engineering environment. A strong ability to work under pressure and maintain service excellence is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:



Service Coordination:

Plan, organise, direct, and delegate service jobs to ensure objectives and targets are met. Oversee a team of service engineers and support staff to meet business goals and customer needs.

Report Preparation:

Prepare and compile detailed reports and KPIs for monthly customer meetings, requiring strong IT and reporting skills.

CRM and Software Management:

Maintain accurate records on CRM, planning, and service software to ensure work and machine data are up-to-date.

Quotation Management:

Prepare quotations from sales enquiries and service reports, following up with customers to ensure timely responses and closures.

Out-of-Hours Support:

Participate in an on-call rota for after-hours customer service requests, ensuring customers are always supported.

Customer Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers to ensure excellent service standards and customer satisfaction.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Work with internal and external teams to maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry health and safety regulations, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with the purchasing, sales, marketing and accounts teams to ensure timely supply of parts and equipment, ensuring jobs are completed and invoiced efficiently.

Key Requirements:



Desire to grow with an ambitious business. Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, particularly in a service coordination role. Strong planning, organising, and supervisory skills. Excellent customer service abilities, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships. Proficiency in IT, particularly with Word, Excel, CRM, planning, and reporting tools. Ability to work under pressure and handle competing priorities effectively. A strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the engineering industry.

Salary:



From 25,750 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
