We're looking for a proactive and experienced

Senior Delivery Manager

to lead the day-to-day delivery of a high-profile Exercise Control (EXCON) facility. This is a hands-on, operational role embedded within a live training environment, supporting the delivery of advanced air readiness training.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Senior Delivery Manager, you will:


Lead the planning and execution of a networked training and range control capability. Coordinate operational priorities and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage a team of technical specialists delivering live and simulated training support. Operate and support advanced debrief and analysis tools used in collaborative air training. Act as the key link between internal development teams and front-line operational delivery. Support surge periods, including night flying and large-scale exercises.

Key Responsibilities

Develop long-term planning cycles for training support, maintenance, and capability upgrades. Manage tasking for routine and complex training events. Liaise with internal teams to deliver enhancements and new service offerings. Support capability training and identify future requirements. Maintain procedures to ensure efficient and compliant delivery. Provide input into future technology strategy and service development. Ensure compliance with all relevant security, IT, and operational standards.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Eligible for

Developed Vetting (DV)

security clearance. Strong background in operational delivery, systems management, and IT infrastructure. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills. Comfortable in customer-facing and embedded roles. Ability to fulfil a

reservist

role if required.

Desirable:

Experience working within defence or complex operational environments. Familiarity with air systems, communications, and training infrastructure. Understanding of planning, financial processes, and stakeholder engagement.
