Service Delivery Support Analyst
(Secondment until the end July 2026)
Salary from 42,679 to 51,000 pa inclusive with potential to progress to 54,730 pa inclusive of London allowance
The London School of Economics is a cosmopolitan university situated in the vibrant centre of London that specialises in the study of social sciences. Our Data and Technology Services division provides services to over 14,000 staff and student users.
This role sits within the IT Service Management (ITSM) Implementation Project, which will replace the current Cherwell platform used by the Data and Technology Services (DTS) team with a modern Enterprise Service Management (ESM) solution.
As Service Delivery Support Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the project through a combination of coordination, documentation, content development, and stakeholder engagement. You will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the project by shaping service catalogue entries, user guidance, internal documentation, and other project deliverables. Using a combination of coordination, documentation, content development, and stakeholder engagement, you'll work collaboratively with colleagues across DTS and other departments at LSE.
The role involves capturing and presenting information about services, systems, and processes in a clear and accessible way. This includes developing user guides, web content, instructional materials, and structured knowledge base content to support both staff and students. You will also support wider project coordination activities such as scheduling, tracking progress, and reporting.
We're looking for someone who is organised, inquisitive, and a confident communicator, comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders and able to explain technical processes in simple and clear language. You'll bring a collaborative mindset and an eye for detail, with a genuine interest in improving services and the user experience.
Candidates should have:
Advanced understanding of LSE processes and systems (OneFinance, Contensis)
Ability to maintain a confident and resilient attitude when working under pressure
Able to interpret user requirements offering solutions that offer an exceptional user experience and meet business needs
