The role is permanent and full-time A flexible role that can be based remotely or hybrid if based locally to our Support Centre in Kearsley - M261GG You will benefit from free onsite parking, and Kearsley train station is just a short walk away With an on-site mini market shop and casual seating space inside and outside (for the sunnier days) To independently design and improve NHS and private dental services at mydentist, applying user-centred and co-design approaches across varied contexts. This role balances design delivery with stakeholder engagement and contributes to the wider development of the design function

Your future, your role




As a Service Designer, you'll be:

Leading the design and delivery of service blueprints, journey maps, and proposals Planning and conducting user research and co-design activities Synthesising insights from research and stakeholder input into practical service models Translating technical information into clear, actionable outputs Conducting or directing background research into NHS policy, ICB priorities, and healthcare strategies Producing and maintaining clear design documentation and outputs Embedding equity, access, and prevention principles into all designs
Facilitating workshops and meetings with internal and external stakeholders

You will have:



Proven experience in service design, public service innovation, or healthcare improvement Experience leading research and design activities independently Familiarity with social value frameworks or health inequalities work Knowledge and experience of designing or improving services for underserved or high-need populations (Preferable)
