Service Desk Analyst / Field Engineer
Location: East Midlands
A position has arisen for a Service Desk Analyst & Field Engineer to join our team within an IT managed services and support business.
In-house training is included and can be complemented by agreement with official industry programs.
Duties will include:
Providing 1st line technical support to clients on-site or remotely
Initial setup and configuration of new desktop and laptop computers to meet customer requirements
Scheduled backup status checks, reporting and completion of preventative maintenance checks
Taking responsibility of point of call resolution, telephone, email and remote support services, and backup management
Working closely with other team members to resolve issues
Scheduling and conducting site visits
Managing open tickets and maintaining ownership of assigned support cases
Occasional evening or weekend project oriented or installation-based work (prescheduled and paid as overtime)
The successful candidate should have:
Good computer and problem solving skills
Excellent customer and communication skills
A full UK driving license (manual)
Experience interacting with clients at a high level, as well as being technically competent and highly motivated
Ability to prioritise tasks on a busy and fast paced help desk

Salary range advertised is based on full time position, however part time can also be considered.

Pay: 23,500.00-26,500.00 per year
