Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and maintenance services for our products. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Service Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.

Responsibilities

Servicing, repairing, and commissioning our full range of machinery Carrying out routine maintenance checks Identifying and replacing faulty components Assisting with machinery installations Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard Completing job sheets and reporting issues to senior engineers

Skills

Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Mechanical Engineering mindset. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. A valid driving licence is preferred for travel to client sites across the UK, Europe and International. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Training and Development

The successful candidate will enrol onto the Lean Manufacturing Operative Level 2 apprenticeship. All training will take place at work, during working hours

Hours

Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week

There will be some weekend work to allow access to clients sites without interrupting their weekly production.

There will be travel across the UK, Europe and International, so must be comfortable/flexible being away from home.
