Comtherm is a leading manufacture in the manufacturing of industrial and process burners, providing our OEM's and customers with quality products and a high standard of support with aftercare ranging from installations, commissioning, service/ routine maintenance and breakdown cover. Being used on applications such as car plants, air handling systems, ovens, bakeries, direct and indirect appliances. Powder coaters, oxidizers and waste management.
Due to our ever-growing success we're now looking to expand our team. We are currently looking for a qualified gas engineer to join our team as a service engineer covering service work, routine maintenance and breakdowns. Candidates will require a minimum of 2 years experience with process burners. Further training will be given in house on all Comtherm burners and systems.
In house FAT testing of newly manufactured burners.
Carry out routine inspections & maintenance on burners fitted to the above applications.
Diagnose & repair faulty equipment promptly to minimize down time for our clients. and their production.
Ensure all tasks carried out on site are done so to the highest standard.
Highlight obsolete components & advise what improvements can be made.
Carry out safety checks on safety interlocks, leak tests & where necessary emission tests.
Establish & maintain a positive relationship with customers. Communicate effectively with the client to explain requirements & address any questions or concerns.
Must be available for nights away when the jobs require multiple days.
Ensure all reports are completed & passed on without delays to the service manager & service coordinator.
Participate in all training opportunities provided in house or via external training courses.
Work hours are Monday - Friday 8 hours a day but must be flexible between 6:00 - 18:00. (this will be discussed at interview stage)
