Our well established client based in Stanningly are looking to recruit a Mechanical and Electrical Service Engineer on a permanent basis. The main purpose of the role will be to travel to customer sites in a company vehicle to complete installations, fix or maintain machinery in the engineering industry.

THE ROLE:

Complete routine annual service, or breakdown repair, of varying types, models of Machinery.
Working with several disciplines, i.e., NC or CNC Control systems, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or combinations of all disciplines.
Setting up machine tooling
Machine \'function\' operator training, safe working procedures, software training etc.
Installation or removal of machinery, re-siting of customers machinery, within customer premises, this involves, loading or un-loading to or from vehicles.
Whilst at the customers site, identify any required replacement parts to complete the service, repair, or installation
Preparation / completion of paper work associated with the above duties, i.e. engineers service reports

THE CANDIDATE:

Experienced with installation, repair and maintenance of engineering machinery within the Sheetmetal, Steel Fabrication, Machine Tool Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Wood Working industries
A mechanical and electrical engineering background
Must hold a full UK Drivers license and be competent with travelling nationwide when required
Proven experience with Electrical, & Hydraulic, Pneumatic circuits, CNC controls, mechanical repair ability.
Ideally have experience in service and repair of the following machine types AMADA, LVD, TRUMPF, BYSTRONIC, PRIMA POWER, DURMAZLAR, MAZAK

THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:

40 Hours per week (DAYS) 08:00 \xe2\x80\x93 16:30 Monday to Friday
Company vehicle provided
PERMANENT contract
