About the role



We are looking for a Service Engineer to join our Groundcare division at our Bibury branch. You'll be part of a highly knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly team that takes pride in delivering excellent service and technical expertise.

The work is technically varied and sometimes challenging, but you won't be on your own! We provide a structured training programme in partnership with Kubota UK, ensuring you can continue to build your skills and stay up to date with the latest developments.

Most of our repair and servicing work is carried out on-site, so you'll be provided with a fully expensed service vehicle and fuel card. This is a mobile role, meaning every day brings variety as you work with contractors, councils, schools, golf courses, and private estates across the area, while still benefiting from the support of the branch.

About You



We're looking for someone with a solid foundation in engineering who is confident working on traditional groundcare machinery, including mowers, compact tractors, utility vehicles, implements, aerators, scarifiers, slitters, sweepers and collectors.

As part of the role, you will also work on automated machinery such as robotic mowers, so you should be comfortable adapting to new technology as it becomes more common in the industry.

Ideally, you'll have experience in agriculture, groundcare, or a related industry, with strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrics, and hydraulics. Many of these skills are transferable from other sectors.

Essential Skills & Experience



Full UK Driving Licence Proven knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrics, and hydraulics. Familiarity with automated machinery would be beneficial Confident in using computers, tablets, and service software for routine tasks Committed to delivering excellent customer service in a professional yet friendly manner. Able to build strong relationships with customers through clear communication and support An independent worker with strong problem-solving skills A qualification in Land-Based Engineering or similar (beneficial but not essential)
