Overview:

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of oil heating systems, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency and safety. You will be open to expanding your knowledge to other areas of the business, including renewables. Your expertise will directly contribute to the comfort and satisfaction of our clients, making you a vital member of our team

Key Duties:

Carry out installation of oil-fired boilers and heating systems in residential and light commercial properties.

Perform routine maintenance and annual servicing to ensure boilers operate efficiently and safely.

Diagnose faults and undertake repairs in a timely manner.

Provide technical advice and support to clients regarding boiler operation and maintenance.

Adhere to all safety regulations and industry standards while performing tasks.

Complete accurate reports and documentation related to services provided.

Ensure compliance with environmental and energy efficiency guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience working as an Oil Boiler Engineer or in a similar role.

Certification in oil boiler servicing installation, and maintenance (Oftec or equivalent).

Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

The ability to work safely with electrics and to fault find electrical issues

Experience of assessing oil tank installations for any immediate environmental concerns during the service

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Full driving licence.

Desirable:

Experience and understanding the intricate design and functionality of vaporising Aga cookers, ensuring repairs and servicing are performed correctly.

Experience with energy-efficient and eco-friendly heating systems.

Additional qualifications in plumbing or heating engineering.

Familiarity with smart heating solutions and technologies.
