Job Introduction

We are currently looking for a Service Engineer with experience in the Agricultural industry to join our knowledgeable, experienced and friendly team in Ashford, Kent. Whilst the work is technically challenging, we look to provide a well-structured training program that works in conjunction with Kubota UK.

Much of the repair and service work is carried out on-site so a fully expensed vehicle will be provided. This mainly mobile role means that every day is different, but you still retain the support of the base in Ashford. You will already have a solid foundation and experience of working on tractors, possessing a good knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrics and hydraulics. Many of these skills will be interchangeable from related industries so please get in touch if you are looking for a change.

The hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Overtime will be available and is paid at time and a half or double time. Given the nature of the industry some on-call work may be required.

The Ideal Candidate

Will hold a full UK driving licence. Will ideally have previous experience in the agricultural industry. Have a sound knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrics and hydraulics. Be a great communicator with exceptional customer service skills. Hold a qualification in land-based engineering (preferable but not essential).
