We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for our clients' equipment and systems. Duties
Install, commission, and maintain gaming equipment at client sites.
Delivery and installation of equipment onsite at a customer's premises including any removal of equipment which may no longer be required.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on gaming machine equipment.
Provide technical advice and support to clients regarding system operation and optimisation.
Preparation of company gaming equipment as per the customer specifications
To provide a high level of customer service at all times
Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to improve product performance and customer experience.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all service activities.
Undertaking all administrative duties such as meter readings, cash takings and internal stock transfer
Performance of duties in line with company policy and procedure
Meeting Health & Safety requirements when undertaking all duties
Adhering to current regulatory requirements to include but not limited to the Gambling Act 2005.
Skills
Experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar technical support role. Although training will be offered to the suitable candidates
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems relevant to the industry.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues efficiently.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Flexibility to travel frequently to client sites, often requiring adaptability in working hours.
Nice-to-have but not essential : recognised engineering qualifications or certifications such as HNC/HND or equivalent.
Desirable: experience with specific industry equipment or software systems relevant to the organisation's operations. This role is ideal for motivated individuals committed to delivering high-quality service and continuous professional development within a supportive team environment.
