We're looking for a warm, organised, people-focused
Service & Impact Lead
to join our team. This is a trusted, front-facing role at the heart of our Martial Arts Academy in Halfway, Sheffield S20 3FS -- supporting students, families, and new enquiries while helping create a positive, supportive, and welcoming environment every day.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys talking to people, staying organised, solving problems, and being part of a close-knit, values-led team.
What You'll Be Doing
Welcoming students and families with confidence, warmth, and professionalism
Answering calls and making friendly follow-up calls to new enquiries and existing families
Supporting new students from enquiry through to enrolment
Keeping student records, notes, and tuition details accurate and up to date
Liaising with Teachers to support students who may need extra encouragement
Helping with events, testing admin, certificates, and day-to-day organisation
Maintaining a high standard across the academy -- keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes
Checking in with students who've been absent and offering a positive nudge back

Who We're Looking For
You don't need a martial arts background -- but you do need people skills.
You'll be a great fit if you:
Are confident speaking to parents, children, and adults
Communicate clearly, kindly, and professionally (in person and on the phone)
Are organised, reliable, and comfortable using digital systems
Can take ownership, follow through, and work independently
Understand the importance of confidentiality and professional boundaries
Bring positive energy and genuinely care about helping others
Experience in customer service, reception, admin, or a people-facing role is ideal.
Hours & Pay
12.75 per hour + commission
20 hours per week
Evenings and Saturday mornings on a rota basis
