Key Responsibilities
Support Home Managers in the day-to-day running of supported accommodation services.
Oversee the development and implementation of tailored, person-centred support plans in collaboration with individuals, families, and professionals.
Continuously monitor, review, and adapt support plans to meet changing needs.
Ensure ongoing compliance with Ofsted standards, as well as other statutory regulations.
Team Leadership and Management
Lead the recruitment, development, and performance management of Home Managers and staff teams.
Provide regular supervision, training, and professional development opportunities.
Support Home Managers with rota planning to ensure safe staffing levels.
Address staffing issues, grievances, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Financial Oversight
Manage service budgets responsibly and efficiently.
Monitor income and expenditure to maintain financial health and compliance.
Provide financial reports and updates as required by senior management.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
Implement robust quality assurance systems across all services.
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and service reviews.
Identify areas for improvement and oversee the implementation of corrective actions.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain positive relationships with commissioners, local authorities, healthcare providers, and other external stakeholders.
Represent the organisation in professional meetings, forums, and inspections.
Safeguarding
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all service users.
Lead or support safeguarding investigations in accordance with organisational policies and statutory guidance.
Additional Duties
Undertake other responsibilities relevant to the role as required by upper management.
Person Specification
Recognised qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field (e.g., Level 5 Diploma).
Proven leadership experience in supported accommodation or similar settings.
In-depth knowledge of Ofsted frameworks, including inspection readiness.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage complex staff and service delivery issues under pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Commitment to person-centred and trauma-informed care.
