Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:
This exciting opportunity is based at a unique service in Carlton (NG4), Nottingham, supporting people in their own home, within an elderly setting. The service features 11 individual flats and a vibrant communal area where friendships flourish and activities bring joy.
As a Service Leader Level 1, you'll support your Manager to lead a passionate and engaged team to deliver person-centred care that truly transforms lives.
You'll be responsible for:
  • Driving performance and setting a positive, inclusive culture
  • Leading by example and ensuring services are well-resourced
  • Supporting people with complex needs, including behaviours that require intensive support planning
  • Promoting independence, dignity, and choice in every aspect of care
You'll also play a key role in helping people access the community and enjoy activities they love - from arts and crafts, concerts, and football matches to bingo nights, swimming, and dancing. We're proud to involve the people we support in their own care planning, training, and recruitment.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:
  • A professional qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g. Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 + supervisory units, or Care Management Level 3)
  • Experience in health or social care, including supporting people with complex behaviours
  • A positive, upbeat attitude and a genuine passion for inclusion and empowerment
  • Basic IT skills (training provided if needed)
  • A flexible, reliable, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to listening and learning
