Customer Support & Planner



At Barry Bros Security our Service, Maintenance & Repairs Co-Ordinator's main areas of responsibility are to ensure all Service Calls are processed and scheduled efficiently, and customer records are accurately maintained according to internal and external procedures.

Our Service, Maintenance & Repairs Co-Ordinator needs to have good communication and listening skills, the ability to relate to different types of people and have a polite, friendly telephone manner. They also need to have excellent organisation, computer and word-processing skills. They will need to have an understanding of the purpose and background of Barry Bros Security, the roles of other staff and the standard office procedures.

The successful candidate for our vacancy will apply their strong customer service experience and administration skills, as well as their ability to multi-task, to proactively contribute to the efficient running of their department and maintain the continuous high standard of service we provide our customers. They will also be flexible, assertive and have the ability to plan and organise a busy workload within a high intensity, fast paced environment.

- Areas of Responsibility



As Service, Maintenance & Repairs Co-Ordinator at Barry Bros Security, your main area of responsibility is to maintain an efficient Service Desk which includes:

Answering incoming calls

Providing telephone assistance where necessary / possible

Acting on Service related emails and ensuring the mailbox is kept up to date

Logging jobs on Call Management database according to clients telephone or email requests

Efficiently scheduling Engineers to respond to Service and Preventative Maintenance calls

Keeping clients informed of Service calls progress

Liaising with UK wide subcontractors to carry out outer London jobs

Scheduling accepted quoted works and revisits

Updating Engineer Out of Hours Rota according to schedule produced by Supervisor

Ensuring quality standards and procedures in place at Barry Bros Security are followed

Providing back-up support in the event of absence of other team members

A full time office based role in Paddington, W2 Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm.
