Location: Doncaster (Willingness to Travel UK Wide)



Salary: 55,000 - 65,000 + 7,000 Car Allowance + Discretionary Bonus

Role Overview:



As the UK Service Manager, you will be at the forefront of the service department. Your focus will be on fostering a high-performance culture that prioritises service excellence while driving sales strategies to enhance revenue. This role requires a proactive mindset and exceptional leadership skills to inspire your team and cultivate strong relationships both internally and externally.

Sales will pay a large part in the role so a proactive approach to sales is essential

Key Responsibilities:



Uphold a culture of health and safety in alignment with company policies. Develop and implement growth strategies to expand our service business and maximise key accounts. Review and optimise service contracts to boost market share and ensure compliance with contractual commitments. Establish and maintain sales targets in line with departmental budgets. Create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness and drive efficiencies. Mentor and develop direct reports through performance reviews and continuous feedback. Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment with sales and commercial objectives. Foster an environment of commercial awareness within the service department.

People Management:



Inspire and lead your team through transparent communication and regular check-ins. Set clear, actionable goals to enhance sales and service performance. Address team feedback creatively and constructively. Identify and facilitate training needs to develop skills and competencies within your team.

Qualifications & Skills: Essential:



Relevant Project Management certification or significant experience. Strong ownership and resilience in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels. Proven leadership and team management capabilities. Solid commercial acumen with experience in forecasting and achieving service sales. Exceptional planning, organisational, negotiation, and influencing skills.

Experience: Essential:



Demonstrated experience in sales management and business development within the construction or engineering sectors. Proven track record in successful team leadership and performance achievement. Expertise in contract management and managing P&L responsibilities. Experience in setting and exceeding service KPIs.

Desirable:



Familiarity with perimeter protection products and solutions.

Other Essentials:



A Full UK Driving License is required for this role due to the travel involved.
