We are seeking an experienced leader who has a proven track record of managing and leading drug and alcohol services, or mental health services. This is a full time permanent position which will be based in our Preston office. We also have office bases in Lancaster and Burnley, and there is an expectation for the successful applicant to work across these locations where required, to ensure sufficient oversight and support for the service.Main duties of the jobThe successful applicant will: Live and promote WithYou's values and place young people and families at the heart of what they do. Hold the budget for the service and have a proven track record in budget management. Be responsible for creating and maintaining a strong performance management culture and have the ability to provide inspirational and visible leadership. The online event welcomes anyone wanting to learn more about the role, the service and the recruitment journey. As the biggest standalone Young Persons Service in WithYou, the Lancashire YP services covers a large geographical area. We provide free and confidential support to children and young people experiencing challenges with drugs and alcohol. We run services right across Lancashire and our teams also go out into the local community - so regardless of where those in need of support live, they can access the support they need. The Recruitment Process The recruitment for this role will be a two-part process. If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to a face-to-face stakeholder activity. You will be given 30 minutes to prepare and deliver a 20 minute activity with internal service stakeholders. This will then be followed by a short stage 1 interview of 30 minutes with the same stakeholder panel members. This stage is planned to take place on Friday 16th May. At the second stage, you will participate in a one hour competency based virtual interview. This stage is planning to take place on Tuesday 20th May.
